I am Steven Shorrock from Cheshire, I am relatively new to the fly scene, having spent many years competing in coarse fishing matches, but I have been very lucky to have been taken under the wing by some great tiers that have helped me develop to where I am today. I have a passion for tying tactical nymphs and dries.

I have tied at a number of open days and demos, for The Peacock Fly Fishing Club, Ludlow Fly Tying Club, Premier Vice Stand at the BFF, John Norris and Mallon & Green. I am a proud ambassador for Veniards.

The main stay of my fishing is based around Staffordshire and Derbyshire where I spend most of my time during trout season on the River Wye, Derwent, Dove & Lathkill hunting for their wild Brown Trout and Rainbows. During winter my focus shifts to in and around Wales on the Dee, Wye and Severn targeting the Grayling. It is all about wild fish for me and I have started going further afield to Bosnia in chase of them in the last couple of years.
