My name is Phillippa and I first became attached to fly fishing around 14 years ago when I use to go with my dad to reservoirs and small stillwaters. Soon after I really got the bug, I picked up an interest for fly tying which totally blew my mind! My little starter kit I got soon burst open and slowly took over the spare room!
Living in West Yorkshire I am blessed to be surrounded by some truly incredible wild trout and grayling fishing in the country. As well as the UK I have also fished in Poland, France and most recently Bosnia. Traveling to fish in these amazing countries has become something I want to do more and more to experience some of the best fishing in Europe!
I am proud to work with some of the best companies in the industry such as Semperfli and Douglas Fly Fishing. I enjoy tying at shows up and down the country where some of you will have seen me at The British Fly Fair, Open days at shops and The Great Yorkshire Show. This will be my first year tying at The Irish Fly fair and I am looking forward to meeting you all!
