JOIN Peter McCallum AT THE IRISH FLY FAIR
I’ve been fly tying now for 50 years having started fishing on the river Clyde and it’s tributaries before moving on to fishing the rivers and lochs throughout Scotland. Hence my first love has always been fishing for wild brown trout on rivers and I have a passion for tying and fishing Clyde style patterns, their sparse dressings make them very effective for picky trout in still as well as running water. I also spend as much time as I can fishing the lochs of north west Scotland.
I tie a wide range of flies for Trout, as well as for Salmon, Pike and saltwater and have demonstrated at fairs throughout Britain as well as in Europe. I’m looking forward to demonstrating a range of flies at the Irish Fly Fair in 2023.
