My name is Owen Trill from Galway. I am tying for almost 20 years. I was first shown how to dress flies by Michael Costello. I caught my 1st salmon at the age of 10. I dress sparse fishing flies that catch fish and many variants of well-known salmon and sea trout flies. I also dress my own fly patterns which are well proven from Iceland to Russia. I also tie for Sean Carty of land and sea sports in Bundoran Donegal, which is beside the river Drowse. I am a member of the Galway fly tying guild and Tuam anglers fishing club. I am passionate about tying flies that work to catch fish and for the love of it. I am so looking forward to the Irish fly fair and will be tying at it for the first time, I have been many times as a visitor and it is a wonderful event for the angler to come and see. I will be dressing flies on the Gairha Fishery stand.
