Hello everyone, I am 52 years old and live in Florence in magic Tuscany.
The passion of my life is fishing, which as a child I practiced, then moved to fly-fishing since the age of 17 years. This passion has led me to fish around the world, Alaska, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Ireland, Scotland, Iceland, and close to Italy in Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia, both trout, grayling, salmon, sea trout.
I am also a fan of fishing from the shore in salt water, a blue fish hunting, sea bass and other predators.
The passion for fly tying was immediate start up, I like to build a little 'off, dry flies, nymphs, wet, salmon flies and saltwater, and sometimes even hyper realistic.
With my friend Gianluca Nocentini I wrote the "MANUAL OF MODERN FLY TYER OF ARTIFICIAL FLIES", also I write articles for "Mosca & Spinning," and for some international journals, my flies are present on various books.
I am a member of the Pro Team Partridge of Redditch, and currently Deer Creek, and also Swiss CDC.
Among the most beautiful experiences in which I participate every year, are the Fly Festival in Europe, where I find myself building along with great fly foreign tyers, Denmark, Germany, Holland, Ireland and England, are some of the countries where these events take place, not excluding the American experience in Somerset New Jersey at the Fly Tying Symposium.
Surely fly fishing is the passion of my life, a healthy activity that gave me the opportunity to live and see the world, to be able to appreciate and love nature in its beautiful forms and visions, and also for allowing me to meet many beautiful people. The Fly Tying is therefore, an activity that gives me the opportunity to create something and to use the manuality, I think it's therapeutic as well as a deepening of our passion. I wish everyone to experience fly fishing in a comprehensive way in its forms.
