Irish Fly Fair

Hi there, my name is Stuart Wylie, I am a pike fly fishing guide on the beautiful Lough Erne system, with over twenty years experience in fly fishing for pike and also tying pike flies, its fair to say that I'm totally addicted to chasing these great creatures on the fly.

I started guiding to help other anglers experience 'the take' and 'the fight' of big pike using fly fishing equipment, in my opinion catching a 20lb pike on the fly is the pinnacle of our sport . . . and who knows, maybe land that magical 30lb fish of a lifetime! 

I have been tying various styles of pike patterns for many years, from small baitfish patterns to the larger streamer type flies. My flies are dressed using both synthetic and natural materials. I have seen a vast improvement in predator tying materials over the years and being a member of the Semperfli Pro Team gives me a great opportunity to use such fantastic materials to create patterns that will hopefully catch that fish of a lifetime....
