Scott also has 23 years experience as a ghillie on some of the best salmon rivers in Scotland. Using this vast knowledge, Scott created the Mackenzie DTX (Designed Through Experience) products. He has created some of the best, high quality, award winning fly fishing rods and lines available in the world today. When he is not designing the newest high performance rods he will be teaching others and demonstrating his skills at events and shows around the world.
