Sacha was born in 1971 in Hemer, Germany where he still lives with his wife Isabella and son Lucas. He has been a Flyfisher & Fly tier since 1985. Sacha has visited many national and international flyfishing shows and demonstrated in 14 different countries his tying skills.
Dänmark, USA, Canada, England, Sweden, Italy, Austria, Netherland, France, Switzerland, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Germany. Sacha is very proud to tied in 14 different countries around the world on Flytying shows and events.
• 2008 he won the first Official German Flytying Championship in 4 categories
• Grand Prix Winner 2003 in Japan (Ken Sawada Contest)
• Irish Open Champion 2004 (2xGold, 2xSilver, 2xBronse)
• Irish Open Champion 2005 (1xGold,1xSilver,1xBronse)
• Mustad Scandinavian Open Champion

• A special highlight was the fly tying demonstration in the USA at the “Flytying Symposium” and the “Sommerset Show” in New Jersey

• a special Flytying Event 2025 was to tie on the Scottish River Tweed Opening day 2025 where I was invited at Bemersyde House from the family Haig more than 300 shows and Flytying demonstrations since 1995
