Everybody know me as Muro, I'm from Slovakia but I've been living in Northern Ireland for the past 19 years. I have been fly fishing for over 25 years and have been tying my own flies for the last 6 years. I have recently started working with a Czech company called HENDS PRODUCT, where I am listed as a Fly Tiers Pro Team member.
In Slovakia, I have fished mostly grayling and trout on the Hornád (native river), Poprad and Váh rivers. I fished mostly dry fly, wet fly, classic and Czech nymph - which I now tie myself.
Here in Northern Ireland I fly fish on the Kells water, Maine and Braid rivers and on the medium sized lakes Altnahinch, Mourne, Woodburn where I mostly use spiders, classic and Czech nymphs and try wet flies during the Dollaghan draw.
But I'm most enchanted fishing with a short bamboo rod and spiders flies on the Kells water and the Braid.
