Hi, my name is Joe, I'm from Dundalk Ireland. Growing up so close to a river my summers were spent adventuring up and down it fly fishing for brown trout and sea trout, my winter weekends were spent fly fishing on stocked venues for rainbows.

I've always tied flies, on and off throughout the years but I've really started to focus on my tying in the past few years. I tie all types of flies from large pike flies to size 22 dries and everything in-between. I love tying trout nymphs and traditional lough style wets, but recently, I have been putting most of my efforts into tying and developing Seatrout nymphs. I'm part of the Táin Flyfishing Pro Team.

I'm absolutely delighted to be tying at this year's Irish Fly Fair & looking forward to a great show, so make sure to give me a shout for a bit of craic and a few secret sea trout patterns.
