Irish Fly Fair

Jackie Mahon is a full-time guide based in the North West of Ireland, where he guides on Lough Arrow, Lough Erne, Lough Melvin and Glencar Lake. Jackie is an ambassador and signature tyer for Fulling Mill. His pattern range with Fulling Mill has gained notoriety amongst the wild trout of Ireland, which unfortunately for them, they can’t seem to avoid! He is also an ambassador with Patagonia, as well as a pro-tyer for Raidzap. Jackie is a brilliant demonstrator and has done shows both here and in Europe.

Coming from a family of fishermen, fly-fishing and fly-tying have been strong passions of his from a very young age. it is often said that it is in his blood. A big part of his childhood was spent chasing wild brown trout and salmon on the Garavogue River in Sligo. This year, Jackie will be tying on the Fulling Mill stand, promoting their products and his extensive fly range.
