JOIN Graham Forbes AT THE IRISH FLY FAIR

I am based in Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland and have now been fly fishing and fly tying for more than 41 years. I regularly fish the rivers Thurso, Ness and Carron for Atlantic salmon and love nothing better than tying salmon flies during the winter months. I enjoy incorporating new materials into my flies to give the old faithfuls a modern twist.

I have tied at the Scottish Game Fair. Moy Game Fair near Inverness and various other local events. I originally started fishing with my late father for brown trout on the river Eden in Fife but now fish mostly for salmon since moving to Inverness with work approximately 29 years ago. I have been lucky to fish in British Columbia and love the idea of exploring salt water fishing and pike.
