Want to improve your fly casting or begin to learn fly-casting?
APGAI Ireland will have a team of its professional fly-casting instructors at the Irish Fly Fair on Saturday and Sunday 18th & 19th November 2023. The instructors are both experienced and qualified to teach the essentials of good casting. Each one regularly trains people who are either new to fly-casting or wish to improve their casting.
This is a rare opportunity to spend some one-to-one time with and learn from a professional instructor and it is free! The instructors will be giving 20-minute sessions to help you be a better caster and as a consequence become a more successful angler. You may wish to bring your own rod which will allow you to learn using the tackle which you normally fish with. We will have some rods available if you do not have your own rod with you or if don’t have a fly rod.
How to book
All you need to do is call with us at the APGAII stand in the fly-tying zone. We will put your name on the timetable for the day; let you know who will be working with you; and where and when to meet them. The sessions will take place on the lakeside a few yards from the hotel.
