Dan O Neill is an extremely passionate angler and regarded as one of Irelands top fishing guides and instructors. Dan started his fishing journey at the 4 with his dad Ger. At the age of 14 Dan began guiding for Mount Juliet's many international anglers for both trout and salmon where he picked up many new techniques. With 30 years' experience in fly fishing Dan teaches and guides for hundreds of people each season from beginner to experienced, his teaching methods often praised as being simplistic and unique.

Dan has also featured in many fly-fishing magazines such as Trout and salmon, the drake fly fishing magazine and peche mouche, recently hosting a 2-day trip for yellow dog angling adventures promoting fly fishing in Ireland in line with inland fisheries and failte Ireland, he writes weekly reports to inland fisheries their website also, keeping people updated on catch reports, patterns and water conditions on the River Nore.

Dan is also a Cadence UK fly fishing Ambassador and APGAI-Ireland casting instructor.
