Join Damien O'Brien at the IRISH Fly Fair
Damien O'Brien is a GAIA double hand instructor and joins us all the way from Cork. He is an instructor and guide on the Blackwater Valley Fishery in Cork and the Laune in County Kerry and he offers workshops and classes for beginners to advanced anglers around the country. His love of fishing started at a young age and in 2015 he qualified as a Professional Game Angling Instructor with GAIA. He is also a qualified coach and has worked with various groups to introduce individuals from all backgrounds to fishing, including school children, people from disadvantaged backgrounds and those with learning and mobility disabilities. Damien's main interest is in helping more people to enjoy the mental health benefits of fishing and the promotion of conservation.
