Irish Fly Fair

Chris has been fly fishing since his early teens where he would spend his time on the high altitude rivers of the North Eastern Cape in South Africa. It was on these tiny streams that he developed his river craft skills and fell in love with the ultra light approach required to outwit the wily trout that inhabit them.

Since moving to Northern Ireland 13 years ago, Chris has continued with his ultra-light obsession, and can be found stalking the trout on some of our smallest streams with rods in the sub 1 weight class.

Chris is a qualified casting and fly tying instructor with APGAI Ireland, and an International Sage Pro Team member.

He is really looking forward to catching up with old friends, and making new ones at the IFF in November, where he will be delivering demos on the ultra light approach and giving fly tying instruction with APGAI Ireland.
